About Us
Healthy Northeast Ohio, a neutral data repository for regional population health data, launched publicly in December 2019. Regional partners interested in community health may utilize the Healthy Northeast Ohio platform to access more than 250 health indicators, evidence-based practices, and information about community health improvement strategies. This innovative platform brings non-biased data and local resources to a single, user-friendly location.
The Healthy Northeast Ohio platform provides ongoing opportunities for partners to contribute local data, resources, reports and publications, and promising practices. Regional partners may use the Healthy Northeast Ohio platform to strengthen and build healthier communities through the provision of state of the art web-based assessment and improvement tools. The tools and resources available on the website aim to assist in expanding community health efforts and improving quality of life among Northeast Ohio residents.
Healthy Northeast Ohio is funded by a HealthComp Foundation grant and through partner contributions from hospitals and local public health departments. Healthy Northeast Ohio efforts are co-led by The Center for Health Affairs and the Cuyahoga County Board of Health. As the leading advocate for Northeast Ohio Hospitals, The Center for Health Affairs has served as the collective voice of hospitals for more than 100 years. Cuyahoga County Board of Health works in partnership with the community to protect and improve the health and well-being of everyone in Cuyahoga County.
