HIV/STI Data

This dashboard includes Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)/Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) related indicators from the Ohio Department of Health that are available on Healthy Northeast Ohio (Age-Adjusted Death Rate due to HIV; Chlamydia Incidence Rate; Gonorrhea Incidence Rate; HIV/AIDS Prevalence Rate). This data is available at the state, region, and county levels. Please scroll down to view these indicators.

Additionally, this dashboard includes the HIV/STI Dashboard Region 3 that was developed by the Epidemiology, Surveillance and Informatics (ESI) Service Area in conjunction with the Ryan White Part A, Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE), and HIV Prevention programs at the Cuyahoga County Board of Health (CCBH). The HIV/STI Dashboard Region 3 provides visualizations of HIV/STI epidemiological data and HIV care continuum data for Region 3/Cleveland Transitional Grant Area (TGA) including Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain and Medina counties. Please note that the data for Ashland (Region 2), Portage, and Summit (Region 4) counties is monitored under their respective health departments that receive separate HIV/STI funding, different from CCBH. Each region is defined by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH). To read more about the HIV/STI Dashboard Region 3 click here

Please note that there may be slight differences in the Chlamydia and Gonorrhea incidence rates presented in the HIV/STI Dashboard Region 3 vs. the Healthy Northeast Ohio indicators found below. This is due to differences in the population estimates used to calculate these rates (e.g., ACS 5-year vs. 1-year estimates).
